About the menu screen

Tapiconat the bottom of the screen to display the menu screen below and set available options*1:

[Set connect. dest.]
  The device connected to Wi-Fi or access points are displayed.
You can also connect using the NFC function.*

* The NFC (Near Field Communication) function can be used only if the Android device in use supports it.
[Live Control Settings]
 

[Self shot mode]

When taking a picture of yourself, the image on the screen of your smartphone / tablet will be flipped (a mirror image).
  • The actual screen when taking pictures is not flipped.
 

[Live Control quality]

Sets the quality of the image displayed on a smartphone / tablet screen.
 

[Lens extension warning]

A warning appears on the screen when the camera's lens barrel extends.
[Playback settings]
 

[“Picture Share” settings] *2

Sets the destination by dragging and dropping icons on the screen to tabs on the screen edges.
 

[Size:Copy from camera]

Sets the resolution of images received from the camera.
 

[Size:Upl. to WEB] *2

Sets the resolution of images sent to the Web.
 

[Erase upload loc.] *2

If the sent image contains any location information, the information will be deleted.
[Application function]
 

[Network name]

The displayed names on other devices can be changed.

*1 The displayed contents differ depending on whether the device is connected to Wi-Fi or not.

*2 This function cannot be used on iOS devices.
